Editorial Reviews

Review

From Clutter to Clarity shows women how to simplify their lives in a way that will lead to permanent results. Instead of focusing on the ever-popular quick-fixes for the problem of a complicated lifestyle, Nancy helps readers address the real problem: a cluttered heart and mind, which leads to cluttered living. Through personal examples and success stories from other women, Nancy gives readers hope that, with God's help, they can achieve the clarity and meaning in life they desire. -- Emilie Barnes, Internationally acclaimed author, speaker, and organizer

Inspiring. Challenging. Engaging. In From Clutter to Clarity you will discover proven biblical answers for the balanced, fulfilled life you've always wanted. Nancy provides wise spiritual and practical answers to the heartfelt questions all women are asking about living intentionally in the twenty-first century. Finally, here is a book full of relevance to where I have been, where I am, and where I hope to go spiritually. -- Sharon Hoffman, Inspirational speaker, author of The G.i.f.t.ed Woman and Come Home to Comfort

Nancy has done it again. From Clutter to Clarity contains the how of getting clutter out of your life, instead of just the why like so many other books. Nancy uses stories of real people to make her points, which makes this an entertaining and fast read. Tired of feeling busy all the time? Read this book. -- Dave Ramsey, Best-selling author, nationally acclaimed speaker, syndicated radio host

Nancy has provided her readers a fresh perspective on the problem of clutter. She touches on all areas from which clutter originates--including our sometimes-messy walk with God. Her insights will help anyone--even those who have tried other clutter-free approaches. -- Jonni McCoy, Author of Frugal Families and Miserly Moms

Yes, freedom from the clutter of my world--at last! God makes it possible, Nancy makes it practical. With her wise guidance and tender heart, Nancy helps us take control of our lives, inside and out, to build a more meaningful relationship with God and a simpler, more peaceful walk in the busyness around us. -- Karon Phillips Goodman, Author of Another Fine Mess, Lord and Pursued by the Shepherd

5.0 out of 5 stars A very valuable resource! November 21, 2007
Format:Paperback
The book "From Clutter to Clarity" has been life-changing. Even before I finished the book, I started implementing many of the suggestions that author Nancy Twigg writes about. This was especially true in the section "From Cluttered Thoughts and Attitudes to Inner Clarity." As Nancy states, clutter is an issue of the heart. This book is not a how-to guide on cleaning out your closets, organizing your pantry, etc. It is far more valuable than that, although it mentions tangible issues of clutter that you may have come to expect in a book with such a title. "From Clutter to Clarity" digs much deeper and goes to the heart of the matter. This book is good for every person looking to find lasting clarity in all aspects of life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dealing with the root of the problem November 16, 2007
Format:Paperback
This is not your typical "simplify your life" book with tips on how to organize your closets and manage your time. As anyone looking for a "decluttering" book will tell you, those books are a dime and dozen and don't work -- which is why you're still looking for another one. No! This book addresses the root of the problem -- our FEELINGS and MOTIVATIONS and REASONS for clutter and a non-simple life. Only when you address the heart of the problem can you have real, lasting change. AND, this book wisely recognizes that one cannot do it alone -- in order to have a true change at a heart and soul level, God needs to be involved. The premise of the book is to cast off all that hinders you and run the race (of life) with perserverence, with your eyes squarely on Jesus. Nancy Twigg does an excellent job of explaining abstract ideas in a concrete, down to earth, this-is-my-life way. A must read for Christians and non-Christians alike who want to attack clutter at the root.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Book! February 22, 2008
By Gen
Format:Paperback
This is a gem of a book. Different than a "How to clean out your closet book" but gets to the heart of the matter of why people like to hold onto things, and addresses challenges in our society today. Yes, it is a Christian based book but that is what makes it so good because it challenges the reader to dig deep and inspires the reader to make changes that will last! Bravo!
