"From Cube to Farm" is Heather's life story about her transition from accomplished business woman to a starry-eyed rancher. She begins the book by telling about her disillusioned beginnings as a mom to her unexpected encounters as a farmer. She shares about her battles with loneliness, pride, making new friends, isolation, and postpartum depression as a means to let other moms know "you are not the only one who encounters these emotions." From there she ventures on to share with her readers why she is thankful she is a stay-at-home-mom (SAHM) and gives tips she's learned from her experiences for surviving and thriving in the home environment.

In her book, Heather covers all the basic topics of a fulfilling life as a SAHM including the creation of routines, making time for yourself, maintaining friendships, cleaning tips, meal planning, home management, meal planning, and financial management. Probably my favorite feature of the book is her plethora of online resource links and book recommendations. Her links provide her readers connections to several other free topic related e-books, printables, money-saving resources and more. Heather concludes her book with a series of reflective questions to help the SAHM filter through what is really important in life and guide them to focused action.

At only 29 pages, this e-book is a fast but resource filled read. As a new SAHM I would have been very grateful to have this resource at my fingertips and even now, I enjoyed learning about some new tips and resources at my disposal.
