4.0 out of 5 stars Good Listening Material May 18, 2000
Format:Audio CD
My impression of this disk is that it will appeal to Phish aphicionados, on account of Tom Marshall's contributions to Phish (eg. Run Like An Antelope) but it has a more broadbase appeal to listeners of genrally mellow music.
Tom has a smoother and higher pitch voice than he did when I heard him contributing in Phish concerts, which differentiates him from Trey, which is what many listeners may expect.
If you want a "sounds like" for this album, a lot of it reminds of "Strange Design" for some reason.
I like it a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars one great cd. June 20, 2001
Format:Audio CD
This cd is amazing! I love every song on it, it has alot of different styles on it too, in the song "spin" amfibian sounds like sound garden! in "mud" they sound like the violent femmes and theres a song twd. the end "Nothing" were a girl sings (its very good) the rest of the songs are either alot like phish ("In case you didnt know", Eggshells", and "Sleep as it Grows") the rest of the songs are just great. this album is amazing. i highly recomend buying it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amfibian makes a splash November 7, 2000
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
If your just a fan of music, I would say this album is a must have. Tom Marshall writes wonderfully and with emotion. I have seen Amfibian play before and they are amazing. So, if you want to hear good music by this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, Phishy lyrics, completely different music July 16, 2007
Format:Audio CD
...more like Beatles or Steely Dan or something like that. Their newest one is even better though: Skip the Goodbyes.
