I discovered Red Wanting Blue in the late 90's through a friend in Ohio who saw them live in the Columbus area and thought I would like them. For years, I listened to their CD's but I didn't get a chance to see them live until the early 2000's, and I've been hooked ever since! They have grown musically as a band, especially over their 3 latest albums. The lyrics are instantly memorable, and their music will have you stomping your foot, tapping your hand, and screaming the lyrics as you're reminded what REAL rock and roll used to sound like!

I also highly suggest picking up their previous album "These Magnificent Miles", which was re-released by Fanatic Records in 2010. From the opening guitar chords of "Gravity" to the end of hidden Track #13, this album will change your life!

If they're ever playing in a city near you, go see them! You won't be disappointed!

Aside from their amazing music, every member of this band understands that it's all about the fans. They usually hang out after their shows to chat, take photos, and sign anything you put in front of them. They are an amazing group of guys who just happen to make some of the best rock music you'll ever hear!

If you are not aware of RWB, then you have been missing out! They are truly the most unique, trail-blazing band in the universe today!! They blend a special mix of rock and blues, and have a singer (Scott Terry) that is truly un-matched in style and energy than anyone alive! The only singer that even comes close in sheer originality is Chris Shaffer from "The Why Store." RWB are brilliant lyricists as well and bring strong stuff to the table. EVERY song on this one is a winner, and check out the rest of their albums, ALL are superb from start to finish!

You know those bands where you think I wish they could remake every album like there first one!

Red Wanting Blue does this, some can see it as a good or a bad thing, I've been seeing them live since 2006 at Ohio University and have seen them play all over that state of Ohio.

I think Pride, Mag Miles, and now the Vanishing Point sound fairly similar. Vanishing Point almost seems an extension from Mag Miles. Do I complain? Not really, these are amazing albums. Not sure there has been much of a progression in song writing - typical songs from Scott Terry that one would expect. Love Cocaine!

Bonus:
Hands down - one of the best live bands I've ever seen, the emotional that Scott Terry puts into every words of every lyric to every song is amazing. You'd think a guy who has been touring non stop for over 10 years would be worn down by now. Not a chance! Just watching him sing is a spectacle. SEE THEM NEAR YOU!

I bought the cd for my wife, we both love them. this is the first one I bought from a different source other than from Mark, or Greg or Scott at a show. This is one of the most personable bands we have come across. They love to perform for us, remember who we are once they've seen us at their shows, and look forward to seeing us at future shows. The Vanishing Point is a great album to sing along with, a great traveling cd, but my wife and I have more fond memories of traveling with Pride a lot more. But this album is still up there, and it's awesome to be able to call them friends!

I have seen them in concert numerous times (no I don't live in Ohio) and have almost all of their CDs, but this one is the best all around CD to date. One of the better rock bands out there.
