While this guide seems to cover a fair range of resorts and lodges, camping and dorm-style facilities are typically only noted when they are adjucts to more expensive facilities. There's no information I can find on street vendor food, and very little said about which little hole-in-the-wall restauraunts locals love and which to skip. In reference to Kadavu island, the author even states that he didn't review five or six large lodges because getting to them was too hard. (You have to take a skiff.)

If you're sticking to the beaten trails, this guide is likely sufficient.

I have bought this book prior to my trip.
Finished it in a heartbeat.
The book is beautifully written, filled with plenty of useful information.
Though I've been also catching up online, I've noticed that the book is very up to date.
It has helped me loads in planing and I would recommend it to anyone planing a trip to Fiji.

Good book that covers all different areas of Fiji. Well written with more information than you will ever need.
