Not up to Frommers standards,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Frommer's Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard 2010 (Frommer's Complete Guides) (Paperback)
This guide book is full of political opinions regarding land development policy on Cape Cod and short on reveiws of some major lodging and dining establishments. A great dissapointment and definately not up to Frommers standards. Dont waste your money - buy a different guide book! This is written by someone who is usually a huge Frommers fan.

more like a condensed phone book than a guide book,

This review is from: Frommer's Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard 2010 (Frommer's Complete Guides) (Paperback)
The Frommer's guide to Cape Cod is more like a compact directory of businesses than a proper guidebook. It might be useful for looking up shops and restaurants in the vicinity, but it does not provide enough information, analysis, and recommendations to be really useful in planning a trip. The index is particularly poor: for example, there is no index entry for "lighthouses" or for "museums", both subjects that a visitor would be likely to research. Instead of the Frommer's guide I recommend the Insider's Guide, which is a pleasure to read. See Insiders' Guide to Cape Cod & the Islands, 8th (Insiders' Guide Series)
