The book was very helpful on our recent trip to St. Maarten/St. Martin. Reviews were given of resorts, beaches, restaurants, and excursions. Helpful hints were given regarding transportation, currency, electrical use, and customs. I always take a Frommer's book wherever I go outside of the U.S.

I had hoped that this book would point me to new & exciting places in St. Martin & Anguilla but was thoroughly disappointed. The amount of information was paltry. I previously visited the island before and hoped to find new restaurants, beaches, things to do. However, a free brochure and free advertisements would probably have been just as useful. Definitely not worth the $10+ unless you have not been to the island but I would suggest looking at other guide books. Also, note that several of the "gems" or "values" were packed with every cruise shipper known to man. Guess nothing can live up to the Hawaii island's "blue books"!!

Book is good, updates the new restaurants and the closed ones, but I have the 2009 Edition, and basically it is the same...I was looking for more NEW information
