The book has a lot of good information, a little dated, but still very useful. The maps are not all that great, it's a small book. However, with some time spent on the web you could find all of the information mentioned in the book with more detail!

This book must have been written many years ago. I looked through out the book for a publication date but couldn't find one. Perhaps they don't want to let you know how OUTDATED the information is. There have been so many changes at Whistler that the guide is absolutely worthless! Hotel names have changed not to mention their star ratings. The book mentions Whistler is trying to get the 2010 Olympics and they've been elected to host the 2010 Olympics for years. With them hosting the next Winter Olympics, you would think Frommer's would have this book updated. I do NOT recommend to buy this book.
