Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal

Frommer's coverage of Prague mirrors that of traditional guidebooks, with hotel and restaurant choices that will appeal to a wide variety of travelers, including hard to find recommendations of local tour operators. Coverage of the rest of the country only hits the highlights.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best guide to Prague, March 19, 1999
By A Customer
Just returned from Prague, and this guidebook was by far the most valuable resource we had. Walking tours and restaurant reviews particularly valuable.

3.0 out of 5 stars User beware, October 29, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Frommer's Prague and the Best of the Czech Republic (Frommer's Complete Guides) (Paperback)
Use this book with caution. Restaurant reviews are very helpful and the walking tours get you into the tourist parts of town. But don't trust the telephone/fax numbers. Of the three I tried, all were wrong. Overall, worth using though.

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware........, December 1, 2003
By A Customer
After purchasing other Frommer's books and being happy with them, I was extremely disappointed with this one. Much of the information regarding operating hours, costs and locations was incorrect. Also, there were some other places that were omitted entirely. Fortunately, one of the people in my group had the Lonely Planet guide - otherwise we would have missed out.
