In addition to updating this and the last edition of Frommer’s Thailand, Charles Agar also wrote the first edition of Frommer’s Vietnam and updated two editions of Frommer’s Southeast Asia, covering Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bali. I bought a handful of travel books before I went to Thailand and this was my favorite.

They have great and accurate descriptions of fun activities, and for the most part they were spot on with respect to the general atmosphere in different locations.

I Got the Lonely Planet for Thailand also but this is the one I took with me need I say more. The only thing I could complain about is for it to me updated.

Great and informative. Really could have reviewed a few more of the really exceptional top end restaurants in Thailand known mainly to the locals. More pictures of the area's you are visiting would be nice. My favorite hotel in the whole of Thailand would have to be Anantara Goldern Triangle - not to be missed.
