5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining Aventures in Oz Board Game
After taking my 4-year old granddaughter to see the Wizard of Oz musical, she became so enchanted with the story that she wanted to have more tangible play with the story. 1.0 out of 5 stars Junk! Good concept for a WOZ game but pieces all broke
Junky quality. The character game pieces broke off their stands. The lid doesn't stay on the box. It is a fun idea for a WOZ game but they should have spent a little more on quality.

After taking my 4-year old granddaughter to see the Wizard of Oz musical, she became so enchanted with the story that she wanted to have more tangible play with the story. When I first noticed this Aventures in Oz board game I was hesitant to purchase it as I thought it may be too sophisticated for a four year old. On the contrary, if your four year old can count and match picture cards, they will have this game won in no time! My granddaughter can play this game over 30 minutes without getting bored. The play pieces are wonderful and depict the characters from the story to a "T"! It also folds up for easy storage in its own box. It helps to have four players to make the game go faster! I recommend this game and it's a great tie-in to the story if your child is reading the Wizard of Oz.
