I purchased this game to play for my Pirate-themed family reunion. I was uncertain as to how "fun" this would be when I first took it out of the box, but once I started to play, it was quite fun. I have a two-year-old son who likes to call out the numbers and as he gets older, it will assist him in counting as well. It's a simple game that can be played by a group of people or just by one. I like the fact that you can keep it out and anyone passing by can give it a go. It's a quick game for some immediate gratification. Once you play it a while, you can try new strategies to "Shut the Box." The construction of the box is stellar and it looks like a "real" seaworthy item! This Pirate Wench gives it a hearty Arr! and two thumbs up!

Quality of game is more than I had expected! I played this game frequently during my extended visits to Thailand! I have always wanted one and finally made the purchase when I spotted the game on your site! Quite enjoyable! The whole family enjoys the game! No regrets purchasing this game!

This game is both fun and educational. It's pretty enough to keep on the coffee table - and it gets opened quite often by any of the parents/kids. It has even gone into school for "rainy day" recess - the teachers love it becuase it does use those addition math facts.

If there is any "family" on your Christmas list - consider this as a gift that will be enjoyed indefinitely!

I was introduced to this game this past weekend at a party. The adults played while sipping cocktails. It was a lot of fun. I was so happy to have been given my own as a gift. Don't underestimate the entertainment value of having this at an adult party - the rounds are quick and easy, making for a fast paced game.

My family, including my 6 year old love, LOVE this game. I'm so glad I found it. Friends told me about it and, as usual, AMAZON came through for me...

The game is great fun! Kids as young as 5 and 6 who can add can really enjoy this game with the family.

I first learned of this game from co-workers: we were playing at an NCAA Final Four party. It was easy, fun & fast (and there was betting involved). However, since buying it I have played it a lot with my 7 year old niece and it is a great way for her to practice her math in a creative way during the summer. Because there is virtually no set up time, she will pull the box over and say "let's play!" We have brought it to the lake and since it is a nice looking box, it sits out on a coffee table and is easily accessible.

It truly is fun for all ages!

This is a beautiful game - very well constructed and styled. I thought my kids (aged 6 and 8) would use it more than they do, but it doesn't hold their attention for very long. The rules of play are easy, but every outcome is different, which is what makes the game simple but compelling. Like any dice game, whether you win or lose depends just as much on your strategy as it does the roll of the dice. If design and style aren't a concern, you can purchase this game for much less; but if you enjoy form as much as function, I recommend this toy.

This is a GREAT game. First played it at a bar and knew I needed one for home. I should have checked the size because the one I ordered was significantly smaller than what I expected, but that was MY fault. You can literally pass a lot of time playing this game!
