5.0 out of 5 stars State Fair Bingo
I was very happy with the Bingo game I purchased for my Grandsons 7th Birthday.. It proved to be a fun gift for the whole family. Jacob has a four year old little brother who was able to play. My Daughter loved the Bingo cards, no little plastic chips to pick up. As a Grandparent, this is a memorable family game worth buying, that will never go out of style. This...

My son, learning of Bingo at his grandmother's senior housing apartment complex, loves it. He had always wanted to be the one calling out the numbers and he now is.

The wheel works great and nicely dispences one numberered sphere at a time;

Some of the sphere markings make it difficult to actually read the letter and number. Fortunately, one can easily deduce whatever is missing;

Large wooden block with concave spots for the spheres is nice.

Just as the Signature Edition has the traditional, "old," look to it, some of the numbers on the cards are off-set and difficult to read.

Also, I was surprised that a new set like this had windows that were difficult to slide open and closed.

This bingo game is the best I have found. I had ordered another bingo game that was much cheaper (about $20) because I did not want to spend the price of this. However, I ended up spending that plus the cost of this Bingo game. After about a year I finally broke down and bought this one- and boy am I glad I did. Yes, the color of the balls where the letter and number it etched is a little vague on some balls but that is part of the charm of this game (vintage looking). The letters and numbers can definitely be made out and if you do not like it you can use a brown sharpie to fill them in with no problem. My five year old was able to call out the bingo balls so I would say anyone can. I love the wooden board that came with it to place the balls as you call them off. The spinning cage works well as long as you do not spin it too fast. like other customers stated, the bingo cards are a bit tough to slide but I think after working them through play they will loosen up. The only thing I wish it would have come with is a wooden box to carry it in...but other than that I really am glad I purchased this game as the title states, "it is the best out there" that I have found and I spent a year looking.

I bought this particular bingo game for kids to play at a casino party I hosted. I am very impressed with its durability - I love the metal wheel and the wood ball tray. It was very easy to use and looked very sharp! I will be using this bingo wheel for years to come!

Wanted this for a BD party, saw reviews of plastic balls and flimsy cages for other cheaper products. This cage is GREAT - heavy duty with a good ball-drop mechanism and smooth turning. The balls are wooden and the numbers are burned on. A few numbers are a little lighter, but can be read, perhaps difficult for a very small child but older (7+) kids and adults should have no problem. The tray to hold the balls is very, very nice with a hole for each and very good burned-in numbers. It folds in half with a high-quality hinge. As for the cards, I agree they are a little stiff to move the windows over the numbers, but I really didn't buy it for these - I bought paper cards and daubers for the party, I doubt I'll use the ones that came with it very often if at all. I will offer this game to friends to use for parties or school events as it looks so great, very professional, and I won't worry that they will break it, I think that would be very hard. (Two blank extra balls come to replace any lost ones, mine had all 75 correct balls). The game box is heavy duty, opens from the top with those little tabs you push in, seems durable and should last. Even a cloth drawstring bag for the balls - a nice touch!

I have ordered this set twice and am sending it back again. The cage does not work properly and the balls do not always make it down the runners. This is frustrating because it actually happens quite often. I really wanted it to work because the rest of the components are terrific. But, when the balls don't make it they really go bouncing off of my table, and with hardwood floors it's just too difficult to keep track of where they went.

Bingo balls unreadable. Bingo card windows hard to open and shut. Ball numbers were etched but not blackened as shown in the picture, very, very hard to read. Bingo carboard cards were bent/warped making it hard to open/close the windows.

The bingo balls and cage are very durable. The numbers/letters etched in balls are hard to read so I took a brown sharpie to make them darker. The cards that come with set are unusable since they have slide covers which are hard to move. The set is good but you really need to purchase cards and bingo covers separately.

I don't think that this product was inspected before it was shipped because the wire container that holds the balls was incomplete. The hole where the balls exit was about 2 inches square, causing it to drop approximately 5 balls at once going everywhere instead of on the slot. I had to fill in the area with electrical wire.
It works at 80% now.

The package arrived faster than the estimated date. But I was a little disappointed with quality of the cardboard shuttered cards; some are hard to slide open and close, it's not durable, and teared with a little usage. The balls are not round and the letters can be hard to see. All in all, the set will keep your friends and family entertain but the bingo set doesn't fit the price($35 at most).
