About the Author
Minnie Dix was born in South Carolina and is on the road to retirement from South Carolina State Government. Minnie Dix has always enjoyed writing but she developed a real love for writing living in New York and working at Readers Digest.
Ms. Dix returned to South Carolina where she continues to write and assist in taking care of her elderly parents. She recently had a short story published entitled, "The Storm Within," and she is currently working on several pieces with one very near completion entitled, "Secrets, Secrets, Everybody's Got Secrets."
She has authored two children's books called, "The Oak Trees That Talk/Spring and The Oak Trees That Talk/Summer." This will be a series total of four books. Each book represents a particular season.
Talking about getting out of "Jury Duty." This book, called "150 Reasons Why I Can't Serve On Jury Duty," is full of judicial humor.
