I've been developing with FrontPage for two years. This is not the first book I've read on FrontPage, hence it was a VERY quick read. However I don't know that I would recommend it to a straight beginner. Why? Because this book is not designed as a step-by-step to building and maintaining a Website. Instead it attempts to answer most of the questions you'll have after you've been using FrontPage for a while.

This book encourages the beginner to learn HTML. I would also recommend that you have some solid HTML experience behind you when you read this book.

To sum it all up: Knowing HTML, and already posessing advanced FrontPage know-how, I enjoyed this book and it's views very much. A great review. Not exactly intended for the all-around beginner. Make this your second book. Even if only second to the manual.

As a Frontpage 2000 Newbie, this book is an excellent source of information. Quick and to the point with explanations of every procedure. Not too technical, but just enough to explain the information clearly. Great Buy!!!!

I am an experienced user of FrontPage. When I migrated from FrontPage 98 to FrontPage 2000, I was looking for a book to focus on some of the really "key" concepts that were new to FrontPage 2000; this book does exactly that. While it is not as drowning in details as the "Complete" series of books are, it instead focuses on certain concepts like creating and connecting to a database and explains them in full detail. Excellent descriptions and very applicable illustrations. My hat is off to the author!

One of the problems you have to face when you start reading any kind of book on Frontpage 2k is to combine and manage different skills needed to design an acceptable website. Moreover, most books just cover the software and not web page design in general term. When you get tired of all those books it's the time to refresh your mind and find answers to your killing questions with a wonderful tool- Frontpage 2000 Answers is that magic tool. Graphics, webstyle, themes, security, DHTML are just a few of the very helpful chapters. It can be useful for intermediate and advanced designers (not recommened for novice users).

If you're serious about FrontPage 2000 and are ready to get into some serious web design, this book should be sitting within arms reach of your keyboard. I like the question and answer format - and it's pretty easy to find your particular question, or one close enough to provide you with an answer. The style is on a level that anyone just about the beginner level can comprehend. I've been writing web pages for over two years and this book has shed some new light on things that I'm not current on, like the need (or lack of) for tables. This is my favorite FrontPage 2000 book!

This book is for the beginning to intermediate user of FrontPage 2000. The book starts out great with the "Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions." From here it covers the basics of FrontPage very well and concisely. However, I found very few informative items that were not covered in the help file of FrontPage 2000. If you want a book that is not for the advanced user and don't like the help files in FrontPage, then this book is for you!

This book arrived on time and is in great condition! I am very pleased with this purchase.
