5.0 out of 5 stars Clear and easy to follow, February 1, 2002
By
Chris Kraftchick (Sunny Florida USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: FrontPage 2002 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) (Paperback)
A while back I was looking for a book on Photoshop that would show me how to do certain things without getting bogged down in lengthy discussions about all the technical aspects of the program. I picked up the Visual Quick Start guide, it was exactly what I was looking for. Quick, concise instructions on how to accomplish what I was attempting to do. When I picked up FrontPage 2002 I immediately picked up the Visual Quick Start guide since I wanted to learn the program as quickly as possible. The book is organized well, finding what you are looking for is a snap. If you are an advanced user of FrontPage 2002 this book will be helpful for looking up something you may need a refresher on but it will not show you how to do advanced things. But if you want to get up and running quickly this book is for you!

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book - for beginners only, July 18, 2003
By
This review is from: FrontPage 2002 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) (Paperback)
A book that provides concise explanations to the features you'll use most often in FrontPage. I like most of the books in the Visual Quickstart series. I stopped buying 700+ page software books years ago-never finished any of them!

You can write me at redactech@yahoo.ca for more info if necessary.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book for BEGINNERS, September 4, 2003
By
This review is from: FrontPage 2002 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) (Paperback)
Because my first critique of this book was curiously "edited", let me say that FrontPage 2002 for Windows is a short book that will not meet the needs of readers who are already somewhat familiar with the software: the book is ONLY suitable for beginners.
