Editorial Reviews

FRONTLINE explores how the spiritual lives of both believers and nonbelievers have been challenged since September 11th by difficult questions of good and evil and the potential for darkness within religion itself. Through interviews with a cross section of Americans impacted by the attacks, FRONTINE explores and illuminates the many spiritual questions that have come out of the terror, pain, and destruction at Ground Zero.

This is the most thoughtful and moving review of the 9/11 tragedies...visually challenging as it shows everything but even more so, it shows the heartbreak and tragedy not of the victims but of those who loved those victims and how it shook their belief in God, their faith, and meaning of life. I have watched this show many times on TV but realized that someday it may not be available. Though I know it by heart, I can't take the chance that this reminder of the fragility of life, God, faith, good and evil should somehow NOT be there.

It was beautifully filmed and explored tough theological questions with great insight, honesty and intelligence. It confronts both the divine and the evil that exists in our world in a thoughtful poetic way.

My husband and I have loved and watched this DVD over and over and over. And have purchased several copies for family and friends. A staggering documentary for all.

I use this in a death and dying course. Awesome footage, a great exploration of the theological and moral challenges of this tragic event. Very moving.
