Editorial Reviews

The house of Saud has controlled every aspect of Saudi life and politics since the Kingdom was established in 1932. But little is known about Saudi Arabia's secretive royal family. Through interviews with members of the family, government officials, and other experts from Saudi Arabia and the U.S., the documentary also traces America's relations with the Saudi royal family from their first alliance in the 1930s through September 11 and today.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional overview, May 12, 2011

This review is from: Frontline: House of Saud (VHS Tape)
This item is readily available on DVD. I got it out of my public library. It should be required viewing for anyone who wants to know about the Middle East and especially the ongoing oil crises that continually envelop the US. It's a real mess and a delicate balancing act. The US should not be in this position of begging for oil from the Saudi royal family, but it is.
