Doesn't seem to work anymore,

I've been using Frontline Plus for awhile, never had a problem and fleas and ticks were almost non-existant. However, the last two times I tried it, it did nothing. I'm not sure if I just had a bad batch or not, but I switched to K9 Advantix which did work. I may try Frontline Plus again at a future date, but will finish off the box of K9 first.

Worked okay, but burned my dogs,
This review is from: Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Dog Treatment Tube, 3-Month, Purple (Misc.)
I used Frontline Plus on my two Boxers for 2-3 months and then suddenly they had a reaction to it. It burned the hair completely off at the application spots and left the skin looking scarred and irritated. This happened even though I applied the product in small doses along their entire spine, neck to tail. I took them to my vet, who in turn called the manufacturer. To the manufacturer's credit, they did return my vet's call and answered all his questions. However, they basically just said that my dogs must have had an allergic reaction to the inactive ingredients in the product used to carry the active ingredients. ?! They did NOT offer to reimburse me for the product or for the vet expenses. I immediately stopped using the Frontline Plus and switched to K9 Advantix II. Our lot is large and wooded, so I wanted a product that would cover not only fleas, but also ticks, mosquitoes, and flies and was willing to pay a little extra to get a quality product. This is the second summer I've used the K9 Advantix II and my dogs have had NO reactions to it and there are no signs of any bites on them, either. Fortunately, my dogs coats and skin did recover from the Frontline Plus burns over a few months... I was initially worried that it had scarred them permanently.

stopped an active flea infestation,

I had my doubts as to whether this would work. I had tried other brands before, including BioSpot and Advantix and they did NOTHING! My poor dog was going nuts with the fleas. The frontline stopped the problem, not instantly, but within a few days. Was a little disappointed in the shipping time, but the product does work.
