I purchased the Cutlery brigade as advertised on a late night cable show a couple months back, paid for everything and waited for it to arrive. Of the 200 or so knives shipped more than half of them were damaged. If they were not already broken during the shipment, they broke when we handled them. The handle are brittle and crumbled on the all of the lizard brand knives and the majority of the the smaller knives had cracks or defects. I called customer service and received no response on several occasions. Finally, I left a nasty message and got a response a few days later at 5:30 a.m. PST. I missed the call obviously and when I tried to call back the Same thing. Unable to get any one on the phone nor a return call to date. I will never purchase another item from this company nor would I recommend them to anyone for fear of being embarrassed by their quality as well as customer service. I feel bad for the people who will spend their time and money only to find out it was all a wasted effort. In my opinion, Frost cutlery does not deserve even one star.

I bought this knife before I did any research on the quality of knives. Bad rust resistance, the steel is crap and it dulls very quickly. The locking mechanism on this knife is VERY weak and will close on you. Sure, it's cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you use your knife a lot for work or you just cut a lot of stuff, don't go with this. Spring for something a little more expensive like a Kershaw or Spyderco. I've heard that all Frost Cutlery knives are junk these days. Trust me, do not buy this knife just because it is cheap. You will be disappointed.

wow guys i really like this knife because the quality surpassed the way i was thinking about it. When i first bought it i though to my self this is just a back up but when i actually received it i was like wow!!! i didn't expect that at all the quality of the knife and the metal used was very good. I would personally recommend this knife to all king off knife lovers, cuters, and just for anything. Great knife try it.

Nice light weight folding knife fairly sharp and has a belt clip. Flashy two tone colors and and the words law enforcement on the blade

I was looking for a locking knife with a belt/pocket clip. This surpassed by expectations. I spent $.49 on this, and a few bucks for shipping.

I looked at this knife with money absent in my mind. Will this do what I need to do (open boxes, cut rope/string, miscellaneous tasks)? So far, the knife has passed my expectations

I examined the knife's structure some more. One side is reinforced with a metal lining, while the other is just straight plastic. This worries me, and makes me question the integrity of it's longevity. Still, this lived up to my expectations.

The blade is solid, and sharp, my only issue is with, said above, the structure of the handle. I'd be weary to really have at it on something. In other words, I'm not going to be carving sticks or wood with it.

Another issue I ran into was the locking mechanism. It takes more than just opening it; I need to give it a few pounds of force to lock the blade open, or, popularly, flick it open quickly.

Overall, I give this knife a C+, but do not let that discourage you. How many knives can you get for under $5 while maintaining a C+ quality. So, look at it with price in mind and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of this piece.

knife blade is flimsy, and WILL close on your fingers, but great for the price paid, cant ask too much, Best deal for a knife. blade is very sharp and good. but scared to use it because the chance of it snapping or closing on your fingers is very high
