5.0 out of 5 stars Cash & Faris, September 2, 2008
This review is from: Frost and Flame (Paperback)
This was a great book. I found the sex to be less aggressive than the two previous books in the series. This book focused on Cash & Faris' relationship. They are starting a family and have a second chance to make things work. As usual Cash is plotting the future and setting people up like dominos, while they don't even realize it. I love how he knows who goes where and he's usually fair in the pairing. The next book in the series is Masquerade. I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars LONG LIVE THE KING!!!, June 10, 2009
This review is from: Frost and Flame (Paperback)
I have got to say that out of the three books (Sugar and Sin, Silk and Steel and Frost and Flame) Frost and Flame is my favorite! The story again, picks up where Silk and Steel left off.

A little one is expected which pushes Cash's time line up to get back to the Afterverse. He bargains with his friend to convince other kingdoms and exiled princes to give him their support. Throughout the book, you see how calculating Cash is to get where he wants to be and that is back home and to be the true king. There are people in his way Fuerty and his half brother Gabe. They will die but when is still a mystery. He also has his suspicions about Fallon and Snow but has not share it with his princess or anyone else. They are special and powerful.. but how? As this book continues, you meet character from different kingdoms and how they all intertwine together in one way or another. You have your loyal servant in Sallos but with what his king did to him, he now has made an enemy out of. You have the passive Murphy who thinks his race is beneath the others however Cash know that he is a very powerful demon. Oscar who is ever faithful to his friend Cash and wouldn't even think twice to take out his brother, Drake, down if he had to... and many more very awesome character that I did not mention. There are twists and turns to get to the end result... to go home and be a great king of the Afterverse. This book has a great balance of action, adventure and HOTNESS!!!

Can't wait to see what the Price Sisters have in stored for the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Read! Hot!, June 15, 2011
Now this story Wow'd me. Stella and Audra Price have built a demon world full of political gains and destruction between the demon courts. Jealousy, hate, and love rules some but mindless pleasure and bargaining for souls as they back stab their enemies to gain support from other demon courts overrules the others.

I have to say this is the best book so far out of the three books in the series I have read. The story's plot has thickened and the goal of Casha regaining the throne is within his reach now that his father has had a change of heart and hands the throne to him so he can come back to the Afterverse and rule.

However, returning back to the Afterverse will have to wait for now because when Casha returns he will return with his bonded powerful witch to take full control with the support of other demon courts and rid the major enemy of all courts.

I love how the series keeps the characters from the other books involved and intertwined with all the action going on in the story. The characters interaction between each other is absolutely amazing as they have bonded into a family. I love all the loving erotic scenes and passion.

I am totally addicted to this series and can't wait for the climax of this story and smile with great joy when all the killing commences in revenge as Casha becomes the new ruler.

5.0 out of 5 stars Frost and Flame, June 15, 2008
This review is from: Frost and Flame (Paperback)
What do you do when you have been exiled from your home? Well, Prince Cassiel (Casha or Cash) has spent his time topside after trying to go insane and drink himself to death, hoping to gather allies and the souls he will need to go home again. Cash is the rightful heir of the Conglacio Throne and while he knows that there is still a long, long way to go, Cash is beginning to make some headway. Cash misses many things from the Afterverse, but most of all is the love of his life and child they lost.

Princess Faris is the heir to the Cento throne and she lost everything that mattered to her thirteen years ago when Cash was exiled from the Afterverse. Losing Cash was hard enough, but when she lost their child, it made her more determined to find a way to get back to where she belonged -- beside Cash. Faris has accomplished part one of her plan in escaping her father and finding Cash.

There is a lot of unrest in the Afterverse and several of the royal demons have come topside to get away or at least for a vacation. Cash now has an extended family to care for besides trying to regain his rightful place in the Conglacio court. Faris and Cash have teamed together once again to achieve this. When several unexpected things happen, Cash begins to wonder if just maybe there is more on his side than even he hoped for. When one misstep can lead to danger and death, Cash and Faris are preparing for the battle to come.

Cash and Faris are two demons with a plan to turn the Afterverse on its head and with a little luck, they just might succeed. Frost and Flame begins right where book two ends, with Cash and Faris together again and living in the mansion. I have been waiting for Cash's story since first meeting him and it was so worth the wait. It's pretty unusual to be cheering for demons, but I had no choice in doing exactly that for Cash and Faris. Ice and fire should be opposites, but in their case, the chill and the heat not only attract -- the combination brings a passion that time and distance couldn't stop. Frost and Flame is an excellent mixture of danger, humor, horror, and passion. Paranormal readers who love their worlds with a twist will want to have this in their libraries.

If you have not read the Eververse books yet, I would suggest beginning at book one and read them in order, as they intertwine the world and characters all the way through.
