Adorable Book,
This review is from: Frosty the Snowman (Board book)
My son is 2 and adores this book. He will listen to me sing the story over 4 times in one sitting.
Although the music is fast paced, it has the tune perfectly, and the entire song is illustrated with just a few lines per page. The book is well built for the toddler crowd, and we LOVE it.

We had the smaller one and my son really liked it, but now he just can't get enough of it and wants me to sing along over and over again. I just wish the tempo was a bit slower...

Why does every musical book have to play the tune so FAST?,
This review is from: Frosty the Snowman (Board book)
I got this book because my daughter loves the Frosty song (not really the show, just the song). I thought it would be fun to be able to have a book playing the music while I read the words. Well, it WOULD be fun if it were humanly possible to read that fast. If I tried to follow the tune, I was turning pages like a maniac and tripping over my words---doesn't exactly lead to a successful reading aloud session.
When my daughter looked at the book on her own, she enjoyed it, but kept opening and closing the book to get the song to start again. I guess I realized that books like this might be a good idea in concept, but not in reality. The pictures are cute, but someone you keep looking for the little girl from the video. And when we are told not to cry by Frosty, everyone looks so happy and cheery that it would be very hard to figure out for a kid why they would ever think of crying---I guess the idea of Frosty melting is too sad for today's kids. Not a bad book, but I think I'll buy the video or tape it, and we will watch in this case instead of read---a rare case where reading is not the best media for a story!

This is a really cute book! My girls love the Frosty song and now we can practice all the words! The only reason I didn't give this book five stars is because it only plays the music. I expected it to sing the song too. Also, the music is kinda fast so it is hard to sing the words when the music is playing. Usually we play the music once (when we open the book) and then we go back and sing/read it ourselves so we can go slower.

This is an awesome book and plays Frosty the Snowman music as the child reads. Only 4 stars as the book was dented a bit on the cover, but it didn't effect the music, just looked used.
