Format: Paperback
Ricky Powell is a classic New York City street photographer. Unlike these so called photographers today, Ricky doesn't shoot with expensive camera gear, just a basic point and shoot he has attached to his person when he runs errands around town. In this Eye Jammie release, Ricky has classic hip hop shots of Jam Master Jay, Rakim, LL and Method Man, sprinkled in with everyday New Yorkers. Each page is laid out like a post card with Powell's uncanny captions under each photo. Simplistic and true, Ricky has captured some monster shots of JMJ and Rakim and this book gives you a taste of the elegance and power of his flicks. This one is for the archives for sure.

Rappers, writers, deejays, blunt freaks, street ballers, and Grandpa Munster -- it's all hiphop to Ricky Powell!

Format: Paperback
The book is relatively short. Each photo is imprinted on a postcard. So its like a book full of photo postcards. If you are a hip hop head I would definetly buy this to keep in the archives. Nothing TOO special about it. Some dope shots by Ricky though.
