About the Author

Ted Scheu (rhymes with "Poetry Guy") is a widely-published author of poems for kids. His work has appeared in numerous poetry anthologies in the US ("I Invited a Dragon to Dinner," Philomel 2002, and several Meadowbrook Press collections including "If Kids Ruled the School," and "Rolling in the Aisles," 2004), and in the UK (from Macmillan, Scholastic, and Hodder Children's Books). His self-published CD is called, "Warning! Don't Eat More Than Three!"

When he isn't writing, or enjoying the outdoors with his family, Ted (a former elementary teacher) may be found bouncing and bounding around the world to schools, teaching and inspiring kids to find their own writers' voices.

Ted Scheu is at it again. This fabulously funny amasser of children's poetry has given kids another reason to smile. And not just kids....their parents, too!

The author's collected works, this being the latest, reflect a profound understanding of how the mind of a kid works. A true teacher, Ted Scheu is the best at his craft and I highly recommend "I Froze My Mother".

P.S. Where to I get a pair of them goggles?
