Not just for dads or players, this book is a must for every hockey enthusiast in the state of Minnesota and beyond. Between the covers are stories and pictures of hockey legends and heroes alike, from the infancy of the sport to present, including both boys and girls Minnesota State High School champions. The hockey tradition in Minnesota is one of the reasons we get out of bed on frosty bone-chilling mornings to drive our children to the rink for practice, or brave Minnesota blizzards to get to THE GAME. Frozen Moments brings alive the crowd roaring, silver skates slicing frozen water, stick meeting puck in a perfectly snapped shot, whistles blowing, sirens howling, red light flashing and bands blasting. Pros, Olympians, collegians, preps, and city teams alike skate through the pages of this book as their colorful or quiet coaches shout, signal, shake their heads. I bought this book for my husband. Wow! It is full of all kinds of great information and pictures. My husband is a big hockey fan (player and spectator) and he loved this book. He hasn't put it down since I gave it to him!

I thought the book was wonderful. I was amazed to find out that Eveleth and Two Harbors played for the first time in 1903. There was a lot of neat facts and some great pictures.

This book was wonderful. I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this book. So will any other Minnesota hockey fan. Fun to read. Loaded with great information, and lots of pictures. No stone left unturned.

I found the book to be an interesting summary of the history of Minnesota hockey but I agree with the previous reviewer that there were too many errors, both typographical and informational that distracted from the flow of information for the knowledgeable Minnesota hockey fan.

Book is interesting;however, in looking over a small portion of the book,I noticed glaring errors. Because of this, I don't know how accurate the other information is.
