I'm reading here that this product is being discontinued, which is sad, because it is so good (time to stockpile ...). I have long wavy hair, that tends to frizz and flop a bit flat at times. This stuff works great on damp and dry hair. I actually prefer it on dry hair, take a dime-size dollop, rub it over my palms and then rub it into my ends and around my bangs, which are fairly long now, too. Gives the ends a nice touch of shine and makes the hair look silkier and gives a nice boost in areas where a hint of volume is desired. I don't know how it'd work on short hair, but for in-a-flash fixups and regular styling it's essential. The whole garnier line is fantastic, but this is probably my favorite.

I use this after I dry my hair. I love it, but it's being discontinued. My first container was the last one my local store had, so I had to buy several extra containers online. It is the only thing I've found to give shine and reduce frizz while still keeping my hair soft and not crispy. My hair is wavy, and I used to either make it fully curly or straighten it. With this stuff, I can wear my hair "natural" but still have it look great.

My friends and I are constantly buying products that we don't like or cannot use, so we trade them off.
When a friend (who has A LOT of long curly hair) gave this to me to try, I put it in a drawer, forgetting about it till summer kicked in (I do not dry my hair in summer/humid weather).
My hair is thin and curly and normally looks stringy. With this product, my curls are full and soft, not crunchy like with most products. It's very light and gives your hair the appearance of being natural with no product in it at all!
Definitely worth trying!

This is the best product for course curly hair. I am heart broken that it is discontinued but ecstatic that I found it here on amazon though the price reflects the product's discontinued status. Long gone are the the days of getting this at the drugstore for $3.49. I prefer this product to every salon curl product I've tried including Redken rewind, Moroccan Oil's curl cream, and Matrix's curl line. Plus it smells great. It delivers soft big touchable curls with strong control over frizz. It's best when used on wet hair. I like to twirl each curl with the curl cream to get the perfect look. Happy curling.

Felt freaky to begin with, i felt it worked best when put on nearly damp hair, i accidently used too much once with disastrous results! Very good, smells fabulous. :)

I have uncontrollable thick curly hair, and this was the ONLY thing that managed to tame it, without stiffening my hair. And when combined with the Garnier Curl Constructing Mousse, it was magic. Makes me so so so sad when I saw they discontinued making it. I make an effort to make sure I buy some regularly from Amazon before its all gone!

THe Fructis Soft Curl Cream is the best I've ever tried, and believe me, I've tried over 20 products. My only regret is that is is being discontinued. Why remove something that works is beyond me. Please Garnier, bring it back!

Great products nice smells, gives hair definition. I have Afro kinky, but curly when wet hair and it worked for me.

I love this stuff but it looks like it is being discontinued by fructis!?! I do wish that it did not have a paraben in it but that is the only negative. I use it on damp hair and scrunch. The hold is strong but it leaves the hair nice and soft.

and so also should be curly people everywhere. This is hands down the best product for people with naturally curly hair.
