Jeff Smith is sorely missed, and these tapes are a great way to revisit the good times. He is wonderful with translating foreign dishes for the American cook while maintaining 100% of the integrity of the cuisine. Despite what the other reviewer asserted, I hope Jeff will be back someday after he pays off all the opportunistic "victims" who apparently jump at the chance to cash in big on their mean-spirited accusations.

I have no knowledge to the fact or fiction of the accusations made against Jeff Smith many years ago, but I do believe in forgiveness, and I also know that Jeff finally rest in Peace.

I was fortunate to have met Jeff on one lucky occasion for me, and found him to be just as genuine as all of America's TV veiwers found him to be for all those many years. He was humorous, personable, warm and caring.

He inspired me to be to cook that I am today, and everything I know today is built upon the foundation that he provided on PBS for all those many years. Buy these tapes, learn, enjoy, and please allow Jeff the Peace that he wished for all his veiwers for those many wonderful years.

I learned how to cook by watching Jeff Smith on PBS long ago. He inspired me to be creative and enjoy cooking. If it wasnt for him, I'd probably be terrible in the kitchen.

For anyone that grew up watching this man enjoy cooking, I recommend getting this video set. If you have his cookbook "The Frugal Gourmet on Our Immigrant Ancestors", you'll be able to follow right along with him as he inspires you once again.

I posted all this on youtube... don't waste your money from these morons trying to sell it for hundreds of dollars!! F#@* them! This master chef once again shows us how to do it right. He does everything right, including things with little boys. A true cooker with the boys, in and out of the kitchen! Just be careful where he puts that turkey baster, little boys have taut little muffins!!!!!! And, speaking of cooking, he just loved to "goose" little boys, so he could get some of that sweet chocolate on his hot, cooking rod!!!!!!

got news for you Cynthia...this guy's troubles are fact not accusation.

in the news 5 years ago the truth came out that this man was a child molester. i don't want to suport him by buying his products. you shouldn't either.
