A complete listing of common and unusual fruit, berry and nut trees and bushes with a description of each, where they will grow and where you can buy them. A wonderful resource for edible landscaping. I have found nothing else like this very important resource.

If I had a nickle for every time I used this book, I could buy several more copies. Can't decide what varieties of grapes to order for the garden arbor? Want to know the name of that chocolate persimmon tree you saw in the park? Can't recall the name of those tart little oranges you picked last year in Florida? Want to know which variety of thornless blackberry produces the largest berries? The largest yield? The sweetest berries? Want to plant the best tasting paper-shelled pecans there are? It's all in this book if you want to know.

I've used this book to plan my plantings, select fruit for winemaking experiments, recommend specialized varieties of fruit to friends, and simply research the answers to questions sent to me from my website. I rarely don't find the answers. And I am constantly amazed at the vast store of information contained in it. There are books in my library I could do without. This certainly isn't one of them.
