Product Description

Fruit Drops 2 - Match three puzzle begins as a simple
match three board game and gradually increases
difficulties as obstacles are added and level
objectives becomes more challenging.

Introducing a new Objective/Obstacle - Netted Fruit.

There are four possible objectives on each level.

1. Score quota
2. Removing dark pulps
3. Bringing down popsicles.
4. Free all the fruit from the net.

There are two possible challenges on each level.

1. Complete the objective before time runs out.
2. Complete the objective before you run out of swaps.

1. Fruit crate / Fruit Pie: A Fruit crate can not be moved, can only be
cleared if an adjacent fruit is cleared or if a fruit
jar or a double fruit power up is triggered.

Clearing a Fruit crate leaves a level 3 dark pulp.

2. Netted Fruit: A fruit behind a net can not be moved or
swapped. Can only be removed by matching the fruit behind
the net with two other fruits of the same kind, or if
it's in the path of a triggered power up chain.

1. Score quota - You need to reach a certain score in order to level up.

2. Remove dark pulps.

dark pulps are removed by clearing the fruit ontop of the dark pulp.
There are 3 levels of dark pulps. The darkest pulp needs to be removed
3 times, which means you need clear 3 fruits ontop of that dark pulp.

Fruit crates also creates a level 3 dark pulp and needs to be cleared.

3. Bring down the popsicle.

Bring down the popsicle to the bottom of the gameboard.

4. Free the netted fruit.

Free all the fruit from net.

1. Time challenged.

Complete the objective(s) before time runs out.

2. Swap limit.

Complete the objective(s) before you run out of swaps.

Matching 4 or more fruits rewards the player with
a power up fruit There are 3 power ups.

1. Fruit jar (horizontal and vertical orientation).
2. Double fruit.
3. Sunflower.

5.0 out of 5 stars No in app purchases and no life limits!!! June 19, 2014

I'm a fan of these kinds of match 3 games. I played Candy Crush until I got to a high level that I just could not get past after 3 weeks of playing over and over. I'm up to the high 200s on Juice Cubes. This game works pretty much like those. I would hope for success for this game. What bothers me about those others is that you have only a few lives and when those run out you either wait a lot of time for more, beg your Facebook friends for help, or pony up the dough for a limited additional number. I've always said that rather than nickel and diming me out of big bucks over time, please just let me pay a fair amount up front and not have to keep feeding dollars into the machine forever. I really hate the freemium model with its ongoing IAPs. Especially when it isn't a permanent purchase but rather a few power ups or more lives or just a one time speed-up. This game breaks that stupid trend and lets me just buy it and play as much as I want with no limit. And boy did I. I've gone through quite a few levels and am loving it. No lock ups or ads as others have reported. Perhaps those issues have been fixed. The only negative is that with no limited lives I have nothing to compel me to put it down.

3.0 out of 5 stars Simple but good June 19, 2014

Really simple ovjective based match 3 game. Every stage has a different goal. Could be worth the price they ask if match 3 is especially something you are looking for but I personally can't imagine myself playing this much due the simplicity.

4.0 out of 5 stars Are You Color Blind? June 19, 2014

Because if you are, this is a match game you can play. All of the fruits, boosts, and obstacles have distinct shapes - except for dark pulps, which are obstacles overlaid on some blocks. With dark pulps, bananas are still shaped like bananas, but have "layers" of transparent black. This is a good idea. I like matching games, but most don't have this distinction.

This game borrows from several others I've seen (Candy Crush, Hearts of Atlantis), but has more blocks in the grid. You can play it in untimed mode (easy), medium (some levels are timed), or hard (which I can't distinguish from medium). As you clear levels they become progressively challenging.

I seldom play games with the sound turned on, so I can't address that portion. I just didn't bother with it. I'm often sitting next to someone while I'm playing, and that's just a courtesy I extend.

You don't need to ask for lives, wait for lives, share, or have your score posted on a leaderboard. The only ad in the app is for the developer's other games. There are no in-app purchases, so you can let your child play to his or her heart's content.

I found some lag in the graphics in the timed levels, which I hope gets tweaked so you can really play in real time. This is the only significant flaw I found. If you like matching games, this one is worth trying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful Match-3 Game June 19, 2014
Verified Purchase
This is one of several similar games from the developer Bullbitz. All those games sport cute if somewhat saccharine graphics, accompanied by decent animations & jingles. They also have voiceovers which make the occasional announcements & encouragement, in essence pretty much like Candy Crush. (In fact, I think their first game was called Candy Crunch but subsequently had to be renamed for copyright reasons!)

Gameplay is smooth & responsive. There is a help page(s) on the main screen through which you can acquaint yourself with the game & its power-up's, but I'm sure many of you will be able to enjoy the game even if you just dive right in. This game asks for the Internet access which (it seems) is used for checking other games by the same developer & to take you to its Facebook page, but it runs fine even with Internet access denied. Other than that, there are no suspicious components which you should worry about.

I have bought from this developer before, and they seldom add new levels (or very few) to an existing game. I believe they would rather design more levels then publish them as a different game. So, some of you might feel the 60 levels (available for all 3 difficulty settings so you argue 180 if you must) this game are too few but, for me, considering their games are only 99˘ each, I'm okay with that. [Added] This game indeed can detect when there are no further moves & reshuffle automatically. However, there seems to be a bug where matching 2 types of fruits in one swap does NOT award a Sunflower power-up as its help file claims; No, you have to match 5 fruits of the same type in order to get that...

5.0 out of 5 stars "More Challenging".......... October 17, 2013
Verified Purchase
I have played Fruit Drops part I but with this game the level of difficulty has definitely changed...Now you have more than back tiles to clear under the fruit but now nets or chains be cleared first....It's still 3 or more match in a row, but the objectives at each level are harder...Which makes it more fun and challenging to beat with the clock running.....Also the boards themselves are configured differently...

Getting the Sunflower power-up is really cool because whatever colored fruit you push it towards it wipes out all the same colors on boards...So your strategy here would be to look for the largest same colored fruit group on the board then use it...

Ad free and no IAP interruptions....That's what I like....

"Don't Be Glum SugarPlum", I like the little cute voice....
