This product is hard for me to find at the supermarket and it is great to mix in with guacamole to keep it from blackening. You can keep your guac for several days with this product and it will still look appetizing. It also is great for keeping peaches from darkening right away. It doesn't work forever but it retards the oxidation process long enough usually so that you can finish the food item and don't have to toss it because it looks bad.

I love Fruit Fresh! I shake it over fruit that I cut up ahead of time to have on cereal in the mornings, and I have no browning. Shake a bit of Fruit Fresh over a fruit salad, to keep it looking like it was just cut. Works especially well on peaches, apples & bananas. Be sure to stir in some fruit fresh over fruit that you are going to cut up and freeze. Fruit Fresh is difficult to find in grocery stores, so I stock up because I always want to have it available.
