This book is way more than I expected. Not only did I get food for thought and nourishment for my soul, but great tips for nourishing my body. Not to mention recipes, too! At only $3 this is a deal no one ought to pass up. Truly enjoyable e-book that I read on my computer's Kindle program.
Recently, the author sent me this book in paperback. I truly appreciate being able to take it with me nearly everywhere -- like into the kitchen to use one of her recipes. This is a great feature of having a slim, light weight, pocket sized book which fits neatly into a purse or bag.

I was so glad to have an extra copy of Beth Bence Reinke's adorable little book! A friend stopped by with a pretty candle for me and as we discussed the blessings in our lives, I showed her my copy of "Fruit Lovers' Devotions to Go". She read a comforting devotion, flipped the page and asked me for a pen so she could copy down the recipe for "Cranberry Apple Bake"! Instead of giving her a pen, I gave her the extra copy I had purchased.
I am convinced that one of God's special angels wrote this devotional!

I don't have words to describe it. It's exactly what our nation needs. Every American family should have one and read from it daily...to better health and increase faith levels. I will promote it wherever I go. Thanks to the author for fulfilling her purpose and answering the call on her life.

I'm a fruit lover and this little book does not disappoint. I agree with Beth that God gave us something extra special in fruit -- appearance, taste, nutrition -- and this little devotional book is a great way to praise God for His wonderful creation. I've collected recipes for years, but the ones in this book are fresh and tempting me to try them soon.

Reading a daily devotional feeds the soul and feeding on God's word each day is an essential spiritual practice for our walk with Him. But do you ever just plan don't have time for your morning routine with God?
Author Beth Bence Reinke sent me her pocket size devotional to review. Little did she know she sent it to me just at the right time, as I desperately needed a way to communicate with God in a quick and easy fashion. Her words provided nourishment just when I most required them. Fruit Lovers' Devotions to Go is unique in several ways. First it is pocket size, so it fits easily into a purse or pocket. Its 30-day inspirational set of devotions is perfect for on the go and hurried times. Secondly Beth is a registered dietitian, so besides including nutrition for the soul she has added delicious fruit filled recipes. Mmmmmm, good! She writes in the beginning: "Fruit is mentioned almost two hundred times in the Bible. Words and phrases such as `fruitful,' `fruit-bearing,' and `fruit of the spirit' are used through scripture to describe a fulfilling, abundant life. I hope these devotions give you fresh, fruitful insight and inspire you to become fruit-filled in body and spirit. Remember... just add fruit!" Her stories will feed your heart and provide fuel for your day. I know her words certainly helped me through the hectic times. This book would be a great gift to give to a harried parent or someone needing a quick dose of encouragement. Looking for good nourishment for your body and your soul? Take in Fruit Lover's Devotions to Go.

I'm totally hooked on the Women's Devotions to Go series, including Fruit Lovers' Devotions to go. The book tackles two struggles women face--nutrition and niceness. Let's face it, we all struggle to prepare healthy meals for ourselves and our family and when we're shuttling kids to and from soccer practice, putting together birthday parties, paying the bills and for some of us, working full-time, it can be tricky to be well-mannered day in and day out. That's where this book comes in handy.Full of 30 devotions that touch on many physical and spiritual aspects of fruit, you'll be inspired to live a fulfilling, abundant life. Each devotion begins with a short bible verse, a devotion that relates fruit to life, a short prayer, and a fruit-based recipe. I found it fascinating how Beth Bence Reinke could find so many inspirational stories from fruit and remind us to make someone feel loved today or look to Jesus for our hope and confidence for the future. The recipes are super simple to make and oh, so yummy. Ever heard of pink applesauce or fruity oatmeal cookies? Definitely check this one out. |
