If Kitty-Looks Could Kill

Bring your blade to Desperado Mode--an enhanced and re-mastered version of the Classic Fruit Ninja game. But this time, you will face even more fruit, unique waves, and Puss in Boots' elusive Magic Beans from the DreamWorks Animation feature film.

Finally, bask in the fruit-stained glory of Puss in Boots' own exclusive Ninja Stash, featuring a whole range of unique customizable content, including new backgrounds and blades.

Stay juicy, amigos!

The kids that I babysit have it on their iPod's and I play it after they go to sleep. It has a fun theme and the guitar music is great. I really like it! Definitely something I would tell you to buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fruit Ninja December 12, 2012

My grandchildren played with this game over and over on the kindle fire. I really never payed much attention to what all the swooshing with their fingers was all about until one day when I was bored. I decided to try the game out. What FUN!!! It is an easy game to learn. You have to slice the fruit with your sword (your finger) before it drops off the screen. Sounds easy except they throw in bombs, that once sliced, blow up and you lose!!! Just a fun game, for the 3 year old grandson, 6,7 and 10 year old granddaughters, all the way up to their grandmom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting variant on the original March 3, 2013

So this version of Fruit Ninja has multiple modes. It has desperado mode, which goes on forever, and you have to slice fruit while avoiding bombs. Missing fruit causes you to lose a life (start with 3, if you have lost any, you get one back after every 100 points), and slicing bomb causes you to lose all of your remaining lives. You are just trying to get the highest score possible. There are magic beans instead of the bananas of the original. The other mode is bandito, which is a challenge mode. You get to pick different types of challenges (which generally say slice X of a certain type of fruit) but the fruit and bombs are sent through in different ways, sometimes on balloons, and sometimes on conveyor belts, among others. They are all timed. You have to go through as many as you can, losing the challenge causes you to lose one of three lives. You have to play four challenges per Act, and there are three Acts and a finale. Very challenging! This game works well on my Motorola Atrix 4g.

5.0 out of 5 stars SO SO SO Much Fun!! March 10, 2013

This is a very fun game... probably one of my favorites! It is very addicting and if you like fruit ninja you will definitely like this. In Puss on Boots it has Desperado which is like the classic level on fruit ninja, and then it has another game ( cant think of the name, sorry!) which is like a bunch of mini levels put together and you have three lives.... I like all the different blades and backgrounds they are fun to unlock, this game is very addicting and is SUPER FUN! I'm sure that you will like it! =)

5.0 out of 5 stars Super fun game March 10, 2013

Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots edition has two different modes: Bandito Mode and Desperado Mode. Both are fun and addictive. I personally think that Bandito Mode adds a great challenge and improves the game tremendously.

In Desperado Mode, it is the classic Fruit Ninja, you have three lives. Slice as many fruits as you can. Every fruit you drop counts against your lives. The game is over when you dropped 3 fruits (thus lose all of your lives) or slice a bomb. Magic beans can give you +25 points when your health is full, otherwise it will give you extra heart.

In Bandito Mode, you are presented with 3 levels of short challenges (such as slice 25 fruits in 10 seconds, crack a coconut, etc.) and a final level. These short challenges are randomized, so you never know what you will really get. That's why I think this takes away some of the repetitions. Again, you have three lives, but in this mode, there is no magic bean to give you extra heart. Your score in this mode is cumulative based on the how many fruits you have sliced, how fast your initial reaction was, and combos in each level. I should mention that misses count against your score, and if you fail a challenge, you will receive no point for that particular challenge.

Overall, this is a great buy. You will spend hours and hours slicing fruits. So, what are you waiting for? Get it and enjoy!!
