Scans well, good for fruit identification for toddlers, nice simple words with bright colors. My 18 month old loves it. Would be a little simple for an older child.

Beautifully illustrated board book to introduce your kiddos to the fruits (you hope) they will one day eat. This was an instant favorite in our house and the simple rhyme the comes through while reading is perfect for your little one to eventually be able to recite the book on their own. We started reading this one at 4 months and at 16 months, it's still a favorite. We have both "Vegetables" and "Fruits" and we love love love them both.

the companion book to Vegetables is also a winner. love the introduction of fruits to the baby, as he is learning to eat them. would recommend. pictures (except for the bananas) are nice and the easter eggs of special pages are fun as well.

a winner and in our goodnight book rotation.
