This was a very different sort of bible study for me. The format of scrapbooking each week's concept not only allowed us to enjoy the process of scrapbooking, but also encouraged deeper and more personal discussions than the other bible studies I have done.
There are scriptures to read and questions to ponder for each day in the week before the group meets to scrapbook. In addition, there are a number of scrapbooking tools in the book itself, such as templates, titles, and stickers. The book gets used up in the process of doing the study, but when you are done, you will have a very uplifting themed scrapbook to enjoy for years to come. Our group enjoyed this so much we will be starting another book in this series in the fall. A number of ladies who have seen our books are interested in joining, as well. This study would be good for all christian women, married or single, young or old. It stays very close to scripture, and encourages the participants to do the interpreting themselves.

This study is wonderful!!! It is so easy and you don't have to even know the first step with scrapbooking. The materials are great and the Bible study is so refreshing. I would recommend this study to any group that needs a change or something more relaxing.
It can also make a wonderful gift for someone when you are finished.

I bought this book to do a scrapbook bible study with the junior high girls I teach at church. (I have a group of 8 girls, and each girl bought a book, while I provide all the scrapbook supplies for an extra fee.) I love the concept...scrapbooking with specific scriptural emphasis. Faithbooking a spiritual journey. A clear and specific topic for each study. The clear daily list of scriptures to read through the week, with questions to consider. The stencils in the back are fabulous!!! The girls were excited about it, and so was I. However, I'm a little disappointed in the book. I understand it's written for women, not young teens...that's not my problem. I don't like the size of the book...it's awkward. The perforated pages were falling out. It would have been better to forget the perforations, because I had to trim everything anyway to get rid of the perforated bumps along the edges. The scriptures for daily discussion were unusual ones, and the questions often didn't go in the direction I would have expected. The devotional page that was intended to be included in the scrapbook was large, and many of my girls do small scrapbooks, so they didn't get used. I myself chose to do a two page layout of pictures on the topic, and then a separate two page layout to include the huge devotional and a personal prayer. The ideas in the book for scrapbooking were a bit outdated. (Even though I love the stencils, that's a yester-concept, and few trendy scrappers use stencils much.) The stickers don't stick (I had to use additional adhesive.) And as a personal preference, I just didn't care for the look of the stickers. I tend to like more animated, junvenile looking stickers, not quite so lifelike. That's just MY preference.
Still, I got a bargain of a resource, and I'll use it again in the future. I will tweak a lot of the questions and scriptures myself, and suggest other scrapbooking ideas. All in all, my girls have been LOVING this process...we've met every other week, and we've completed Love, Joy an Peace (we're doing 'fruit' last). It's really been awesome.
