Product Description
There's only one Fruit Stripe: the only gum with painted-on stripes. Back in the 1960?s, Fruit Stripe was an extension of the Beech Nut gum line but has since gone on to be famous for it's strong fruit flavor and zebra mascot, Yipes!
Each order includes a box of twelve (12) jumbo-size packs of juicy Fruit Stripe chewing gum. Each pack includes 17 sticks of gum.

This is the best gum flavor made. Why can't you buy it in the stores anymore? It's a good product and I'm glad I can buy it from Amazon when I absolutely have to have it.

When I purchased this box of 12 packs, the reseller available through Amazon was "The Candy Store". I paid just over twenty bucks, including shipping. So, a bit under 2 bucks per pack. Why? Well, because I like the flavor (still made with regular, plain sugar) and I can't find it at any brick & mortar store near my home.
The packs are the traditional brick orientation, not the newer, flatter style that fits easier in the pants pocket.
One thing I found discordant with buying this product today versus what I remember as a child is that now, the color of the gumstick wrapper does not necessarily match the flavor/color of the actual gumstick encased within. Additionally, the sugar coating on the gumsticks is sometimes unevenly applied, such that it will billow out in a faint poof of dust when you open the gumstick wrapper. Don't get me wrong... I identify these as first world problems (i.e. trivial), nothing catastrophic.

This gum is a big hit with people who remember this gum from years back, or those that have never seen it. The fascination of 5 different flavors in a single pack of 17 sticks of gum. Plus the tattoos makes it fun for kids or kid at heart. The biggest drawback of this gum is that within 5-7 minutes it loses its flavor. By 15 minutes you are chewing on stick #2 to have any flavor.
