This review is from: The Fruit of the Vine: Viticulture in Ancient Israel (Harvard Semitic Museum Publications) (Hardcover)
This is an excellent study of the subject of viticulture (grape/wine production) in ancient times. Serious Bible students will learn much about cultural and historical context of wine and it's production. I purchased this book when I studied the wedding at Cana, and it was a tremendous help. Subscribers to the "grape juice" theory simply do not understand the miracle - read the book!
