This is the best place to buy lead for muzzleloader bullets. The price is lower than the reloading places even with the shipping costs. Pure lead is pure lead no matter what it's labeled as.

If you are going to melt this ingot, ignore this review.

The dimensions of this ingot are 8 1/8" x 1 1/4" on top, 8 3/4" x 2 1/8" on bottom, and 7/8" thick.

The ingot reads: "FEDERATED-FRY METALS MADE IN USA BY FEDERATED-FRY METALS"

Surface finish is still very shiny- it looks like the ingot was just cast.

I have two complaints about this ingot:

(1) It is very severely curved like a 'U'! Resting on a table, its sits like a teeter-totter, with either end raised up from the table about a quarter inch. For my application this makes it hard to fasten down. I'll have to epoxy it >:-(

(2) It is absolutely nothing like the ingot pictured, which is much deeper and shorter than this long skinny, curved one.

I must say, for it's size it is impressively heavy.
