I've always been a boot enthusiast starting with my first pair of Timberland's up through my Durango's. I've been meaning to purchase a pair of Frye's for the longest time. My current pair of boots finally wore out and with the little bit of extra cash I had I decided it was finally time to pick up a pair. Originally, I ordered a pair through Zappos.com. While it is a great site and their policies are very user-friendly, their popularity has meant that they rarely carry the most popular sizes. Since I could only find these boots in D width, I decided to up to a size 10 1/2. What a mistake. While the width somewhat suited me, the heel was just too far back. I returned them to Zappos and just ordered a size 10 from Amazon. Let me tell you amazing fit. Even without any break-in time, they already feel great. I can't imagine what they'll feel like in a few weeks time when the leather stretches out to accommodate my foot (still a width E foot). Wonderfully made and look great too. Remember, these boots aren't made to be waterproof or watertight. If that's something you desire, do what I did and use an aftermarket sealer.
