I don't know why the other person that made a review had problems, but mine is great! There is one loop on the right and one on the left side of the Santa and it comes with two skinny pieces of rope that attach via plastic clips to the sides of the Santa and are also attached to metal stakes that are easy to put in the ground.

I purchased this inflatable and I can't get it to stay up. It either leans back or leans forward all the time, with no wind. If it is windy forget about it. I think part of the problem is that there is a light bulb that hangs inside from the top of the Santa, which makes it top heavy. I have tried and tried to adjust the tethers and it's just not working. I am going to spend a little more to get something else next Christmas. I was very disappointed in this product.
Very thin fabric makes this poor Santa great during dry weather only. Snow, rain, ice all make him fold up and deflate. Very disappointing.
