This is one of my favorite albums every. Very hard to categorize. Basically Amerikan/Eastern-European Punk. Band members hail from Bosnia (Serb and Croat ethnicities), Bulgaria, Japan, and Seattle. Sound is both foreign and Amerikan. Very punk, while also exotic Eastern-Euro. Butthole Surfers meets Fiddle on the Roof (really, meets Boban Markovics, but I suspect you don't know that Serbian brass band).

This Album is really great. I love Kultur Shocks interesting sound. It sounds like a mix with a lot of music styles. Kultur Shock is a relly good band, and this album rocks.

I first heard this band on public radio and they immediatly interested me. Kultur Shock is a blend of American popular music crossbred with Serbian (folk) music in it's traditional style. Most songs sound Serb with added electric guitar, but some are more uniqely American influenced. If your in to musical oddity period or the Traditional sounds of Western Europe, I think you will enjoy Kultur Shock. And Unless you live in Seattle or Serbia, this is the only web-site where your going to find this band, so go ahead and buy it now.
