Let Jesus F*ck You, January 12, 2006
Ok...first of all I'll gonna say this is My first CD of Marduk, and for Me is their best. Anything more than catholics or faint of heart persons who run away scared by the blasphemous and explicit (but f*cking great)cover art should not attemp to hear this reedited album. But if you're a die-hard BlackMetalHead as Myself, then I reccomend this item to you.
((Note: the track listing of Amazon.com is wrong. The correct is: F*ck Me Jesus, Departure From The Mortals, The Black..., Within The Abyss, Shut Up And Suffer, Dark Endless, In Conspiracy With Satan, and the cover of Bathory's Woman Of Dark Desires.))
1-the first song, F*ck Me Jesus, is an instrumental intro, and in it you can hear The Exorcist's "Let Jesus f*ck you! Let Jesus f*ck you!".
2-Departure From The Mortals. This is My favorite after the cover of Bathory. The vocals are great and Morgan is one of the best BlackMetal vocalists I heard.
3-The Black...is a song that makes you beg for more when it's finishing...But is not finished! and then you can hear a great guitar riff.
4-Within The Abyss. this track has one of the best lyrics of this album, and the song is great.
5-Shut Up And Suffer. Is a short instrumental track...and a good break for retrieve forces!...
6-Dark Endless. Well, the vocals here are more screeching, but the song is a beast and it will rape your soul.
7-In Conspiracy With Satan. Well, probably My third favorite...I love the fast drummings here. And the song is short...I beg for f*cking more!
8-Woman Of Dark Desires. For Me,the cover of Bathory is the best of this album with any doubt. Just hear the chorus and the insanely double bass-drum's work and believe it!...
My personal favorites would be Woman Of Dark Desires, Departure From The Mortals and In Conspiracy With Satan. And then, I think The Black...
So if you're opened of mind and are not scared of the genial but explicit artwork, just don't think it more and buy it here today!
I reccomend this album to all Marduk fans and all BlackMetalHeads as Myself.

Incredible Black Metal, October 23, 2005
The name Marduk comes from the ancient god of Babylonia and chief god of the city of Babylon. His cult rose to prominence in the reign of Hammurabi, and Marduk became the omniscient king of the pantheon-the creator of mankind and the god of light and life. In his various aspects he was the successor of the Sumerian earth god Enlil. Somewhat ironic as Marduk are seen as one of the kings of Black Metal. The band was formed by Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson in 1991,he said that he wanted to form the most Satanic band ever. Their first release was a three track demo called "F*ck Me Jesus" years later it has been re-released with extra tracks. What you get is an incredible album filled with all things that make Black Metal great. Also, the track listing Amazon.com posted is wrong. Here is the real track listing.
1. F*ck Me Jesus
2. Departure From The Mortals
3. The Black...
4. Within The Abyss
5. Shut Up And Suffer
6. Dark Endless
7. In Conspiracy With Satan
8. Woman Of Dark Desires
The vocals here, are some of the best in BM. They're just relentless and full of hatred.
1. F*ck Me Jesus - ?/? Simply an intro, has the audio from the "Let Jesus F**k You" scene from The Exorcist.
2. Departure From The Mortals - 5/5 The first full length song, is probably one of the best. The Drumming is great and makes this song one of the best here.
3. The Black... - 5/5 Begins with a single guitar riff and slowly builds into a monster. about 3 and a half minutes into it, the song sounds as if it is about to end but then comes back to life with some of the best guitar work on the album.
4. Within The Abyss 4.5/5 Has some of the best lyrics on the album here, with the blood curling vocals to go along with it. One of the heaviest songs here.
5. Shut up and Suffer - ?/? A short interlude.
6. Dark Endless - 4/5 Some fast drum work here, easy to see some thrash influences here.
7. In Conspiracy With Satan - 5/5 The guitar riff should be enough to get you to headbang. This song is two minutes and sixteen seconds of pure mayhem.
Woman of Dark Desires - 6/5 The closing song, also the best here. The vocals when he screams "Woman of Dark Desires" is haunting. The musicianship here is also at its best.
I recommend this album to any Black metal fan. Enjoy.

Very Good and their first... but not their best :), August 31, 2007
Marduk has always been around being known for their hyperspeed blasts, vocals a tweaker couldn't even hit, and ridiculously fast strumming guitar work. The F*ck Me Jesus demo has everything old and primitive from the older BM in the early nineties and late 80's (darkthrone etc.) and has a very good intro, from a great movie ;)!
Opens up into furious blast beats after that, and the song titled "The Black..." has to be my favorite off this album.
If you like Marduk from this get-go, I personally reccomend Opus Nocturne as it, in my opinion is their best, followed VERY closely by Heaven Shall Burn... which by the way is Legion's greatest vocal work. AND on the topic of that, Legion did NOT do vocals until Heavn Shall Burn..., the earlier works were Andre's and Joakim's work.
In my opinion Joakim was the best vocalist, followed by Legion in Heaven ... era, and than Andres, and while I don't particulary care for Mortuus, he still does a job with ROM 5:12.
Anyway, FMJ gets a 4/5 in my book.
