GLORIOUS COMEBACK !!!!!,

THE RETURN OF THE EXPLOITED !!!!!!!!! This is a very chaotic album if you compare it to former ones, but that's what you'll get to like about it.Don't expect to understand it on first listening, but you'll be hooked if you listen twice in a row.It literally made my ears bleed, and that only happens when I like something too much ! Uneven tonal quality. The 2 first tracks sound apallingly bad,but from the third on, a smile will appear on your face. Wattie at his best on vocals.A definitive must have for any loyal Exploited fan.

i bought this album a couple of months ago, and since that time i haven't been able to put it down! it's like a cross between their early 80's stuff (more catchy/hooks etc.), and their newer more hardcore stuff (massacre, beat the bastards). the one thing that really sets it apart from all their other stuff is that you can tell it was made with allot of heart- instead of just spewing out another over the top hardcore album, they took the time to write songs in the vein of how they did in the 80's and mesh them with the over the top elements of their later albums. the result is something far more brutal than anything prior- why? because it's smart, filled with emotion, screaming razor edged guitars, and most importantly WATTY!

This is an amazing album, The Exploited has gotten much more hardcore - extremely fast and violent. This is hard enough to almost be called Grind. Pure screaming, great lyrics, and awesome guitar. This new c.d from one of the first punk bands wipes the floor with all the new punk bands and all that emo crap. This is punk rock, and when people refer to punk rock, this is what they should be refering too. Fast, crude, violent music, as said in the dictionary...Not emo and weak stuff like AFI and The Ataris. Amazing C.D , i could go on forever. Just buy it, they have changed, in a great way. Totally modernized!

I've been a fan for awhile now and I finally had the time to get this CD. I don't know why people consider this crossover/thrash. Because it's not. And no, it's not "poser" music. It's just pure punk, it might sound diffrent, but it's just punk.

If the above title appeals to you then you probably won't like this release. I am a long time fan and have come to appreciate their growth. How lame it would be to see them going around doing the exact same thing. Year after year. You get the picture.
I would argue that they have always been on a forward trajectory as far as their sound if concerned. I have listened to all their stuff and I didn't particularly like 'death before dishonor' but that doesn't make it sucky music. This has all the hall marks of a great exploited record. Incendiary lyrics, intense passion in the execution of the music. It feels clean, mean and ready to kick ass. And if you liked 'Beat The Bastards' then you will definitely enjoy this.

I am going to say that this is definitly a must have album. the only thing I can't figure out is that for those who listened to the exploited and/or have the Beat the Bastards album noticed how low Wattie's voice was, but in this album his voice got kind of high. but that doesn't really affect anything.

Exploited is one of those bands love or hate them... At best they're the offical cartoon band of punk and then metal... But, in one shape or form this band has survived. This album is fast and heavy but, keeps the same funny vocals and lyrics that one can expect from the Expoited. Theres a very cheesy guitar solo in Holiday in the Sun. Lots of Wattie not wanting to do anything and how everyone is a bastard. Seems Wattie is still reeling over the late eighties to mid ninties rumors and accusations that more or less destroyed the exploited.... But, hey if you've stuck it through with this band and know whats up this a good album. The last track more or less sums up Watties frustrations and is quite good. Has more of the old exploited sound to it and feel.
