Neil does nice work but be warned... the book is a tad smaller than a 5x7 photo.

I ordered this book in conjunction with Neil Zlozower's other photography book, Motley Crue: A Visual History, 1983-2005 and together you get the greatest collection of Motley Crue ever caught on film, AND many of the best known rockers of that thirty years or so giving you The Finger!!! As with Neil's second book, you get to see alternate pictures from well known photo sessions of many bands. These shots where they are gleefully flipping off the camera, usually didn't make it into the likes of Cream, Circus, or KERRANG! They are all gathered here and there are some on-location shots that just blew me away, ie, Nikki Sixx and Robbin Crosby (RIP) in shorts in Tahiti!! That picture alone was work the price paid. It's a older book so get it before it disappears completly, you'll be glad you did!

This book is very reasonably priced. The cover photo alone
was well worth the cost. The book contains several interesting photos of some of the more well known groups as well as some other bands I never even knew existed. The photography is great and many of the poses and compositions of the photos are quite amusing.

Please note that the book is very small, about 6 inches tall and wide. I was not expecting that, but the smallness really makes it so much more perfect, for one can carry it in a purse or lunchbox. Wait till you see the old glam outfits these dudes wore - OMG! My personal favorite is either Rikki Rocket of Poison with the tightest jeans known to man (yikes!) or the avant garde stylings of Robbin Crosby from Ratt.

Excellent images, very entertaining. However my big and most important problem with this book is that, when it arrived and i opened the box,and began to read, the books spine had come undone and was held together by superglue. I was extremely annoyed as i had to pay a large amount since im not american, and don't recieve the free postage.
