This cd is a cooperaion between two very Vim Vanders'k groups :Minimal Compact + Tuxedomoon Very 80s, very dark, very depressing, very beautiful. Allthough all the songs on this cd are covers (Velvet under, PInk Floyed, Patti Smith, The yardbirds) I think they are the most original bunch of songs I have heard in a while. (though the cd is quite "old"). IF you like sad beaufitul depressing songs, this is the cd for you

This is a solid collection of songs that flows from start to finish. If you like hauntingly sad music of an alternative nature this is a rare find. Soothingly beautiful, heartfelt and creative.

I bought this cd cause it had 1 Pink Floyd cover (Flaming) and 3 Syd Barrett covers ("No Man's Land" & 2 covers of "Late Night"). I figured id buy it cause that's 4 tracks id care to hear and 1 must sound good. WRONG!!!! ...These covers might just be the worst covers ever recorded. I think if Syd Barrett heard these covers he would rise from the dead to kill himself. I'm not narrow minded when it comes to music at all. The singing for the most part was dull/monotone (even more so then the original syd barrett recordings) and the music completely different from the original (not in a good way). I think it's meant to have a kinda emo goth feel to it not sure though. anyways i unfortunately bought it cause i could only find 1 song on youtube. Don't know why the other reviewers gave it such a high rating. Save your money don't buy it unless you're a diehard fan of 1 of the artists on the cd and you absolutlely must have it. But its an expensive rare cd. Worst $24 .97 i ever spent.....but the film does have a cool name. I kinda want to see it now xp
