4.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, but nothing new or innovative, March 17, 2001

This review is from: I'm a Fucked Up Dancer But My Moods Are (Audio CD)
I Against I are a great band. Their a mix of pop-punk and alternative and are easy on the ears. This CD is a really good CD, but I only gave 4 stars because there is nothing new or innovative on this album. Its just typical punk songs. But the songs are really good. "Space Odyssey" is sorta a ballad, and will get stuck in your head for days. Songs like "1963" and "Best Place In The World To Leave" are pure punk. The album ends great with the song "Pick Up Lines", all about how the singer tries to get girls. Its pretty funny, and may actually be useful. Everything else is just really good pop-punk. Songs like "Only Alphabet", "Read and Weep", and "Seconds Away" are all great songs. This is a great album, and if your into bands like Blink 182 and MxPx, pick this up. Epitaph was smart in signing them as the first European band to their label. Sucks this was only released in Europe.
