4.0 out of 5 stars Fuego Element Grill Cover, October 12, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fuego EA00AOC Outdoor Cover for Fuego's Element Gas Grill (Lawn & Patio)
Its a very nice cover with velcro straps for security and a perfect fit for the Element Grill by Fuego. The only thing is that it is about 25% overpriced.

Anyone that's ever owned a great quality grill cover should expect the same quality from this cover. It's a perfect fit for the Element. With the Element logo on it, people tend to wonder what you got under that cover...I paid $[...] no sales tax and free shipping at [...].

5.0 out of 5 stars Protect your investment., October 12, 2011

Sturdy material, well put together. After spending $500 for the grill it is only rational to spend another $50 to protect it. Without this cover rain accumulates in the indent or the cover and gets inside the grill. Must have for the Fuego grills. Strongly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great grill cover!, November 10, 2010

This is a great cover for the Fuego grill-a must have. It stands up to the elements like rain and you won't lose the cover to high winds since it has nice velcro tabs on the bottom that keep it snug. If you are investing in a Fuego grill, you should invest in the cover to keep your grill looking it's best!

We recently got the Fuego BBQ as a gift. It is such a well designed, user friendly grill. If we could stand eating BBQ every night we would use it over our stove!! The BBQ grill cover is equally at well designed and easy on the eyes. Its a great heavy weight material that is perfectly weather proof!

4.0 out of 5 stars Snug as a bug, June 30, 2010

This review is from: Fuego EA00AOC Outdoor Cover for Fuego's Element Gas Grill (Lawn & Patio)
The Element by Fuego grill cover is made of a woven heavy-duty polyester fabric, much like that of some pricier outdoor patio furniture coverings. The weave apparently still lets your beautiful grill breathe (instead of condensation forming), but also keeps it weatherproof. How weatherproof? I'm in sunny California, so there's no major snow or torrential floods.

My cover didn't feature the black velcro strap as shown...it was gray instead to match the cover. It had a nice silkscreened "e" for Element on it in yellow.

There are two sets of velcro straps on the grill cover. One set in front and one in back. This allows you to snugly tighten the cover over the lower body of the grill to prevent critters like squirrels, rats, or snails from crawling up into it and snacking on any tidbits of leftover food particules.

When carefully put over the Element by Fuego grill, this appears custom made for it and adds a bit of curiosity to anyone wondering what's underneath: is it R2D2 or another robot? a rocket or spaceship? outwear for a London 2012 Olympic mascot? Your guest will be forever curious until you unveil the beautiful grill that is beneath the cover.

I prefer this type of material over the cheaper (and thinner) vinyl as it seems more durable and less prone to rips or tears. Be sure to allow your grill to completely cool down before covering it up again.

Pricey? Maybe. But is this accessory for your Element by Fuego grill worth it? Yes, especially if you paid for the grill itself.
