Amazon.com Product Description

Combining innovative form with versatile function, this 21-inch gas grill not only adds a vision of modern art to any back deck or patio, but it also cooks up great-tasting food--no charcoal required. The unit features a 24,000-BTU dual-zone burner with two elements: the outer ring (zone 1) provides indirect heat while the inner ring (zone 2) works best for standard grilling. Use zone 1 for indirect heat to bake, barbecue, and roast, or close the roasting lid to utilize zone 2 to smoke or to generate convection heat. Electronic ignition with a single control knob ensures complete control over the temperature and both burners. The unit also provides a swing-out wood prep tray tucked under the cast-iron grill top for setting a glass of red wine; stainless-steel handles for hanging tools and towels; and propane storage underneath with a removable front panel to keep the tank out of sight, but within easy reach. Other highlights include stainless-steel burner tubes, a grate made of cast iron for maximum heat conduction, a temperature gauge on the lid, adjustable vents, a powder-coated steel burner bowl and body with a molded plastic base, and smooth-rolling ABS casters with rubber tread and locks. Optional accessories (sold separately) include a 20-inch pizza-baking stone that fits directly into the grill and a cast-iron griddle flat plate for searing and grilling peppers and onions or shrimp in the shell.

Multiple Cooking Options in One Innovative Design
Whether you're grilling up steaks and cheeseburgers for an outdoor party or slow cooking pork for a memorable family dinner, the Element gas grill offers multiple cooking options in one innovative package. Its smart design, sleek looks, and heavy-duty cast alloy controls make the Element a welcome alternative to traditional kettle or gas grills.

Custom Control for Memorable Family Meals and Parties
Perfect for grilling novices and enthusiasts alike, the Element features a unique single-dial control that gives you full command of dual-zone burner selection and temperature settings. The dial controls the Element's four customizable cooking options: traditional gas grilling, pizza stone, griddle plate, and roasting. With 24,000 British Thermal Units (BTUs) on the 346-square-inch cooking surface, there's plenty of heat to handle any meal you can dream up.

Cast-Iron Grate and Roasting Lid for Even Searing and Slow Cooking
The Element's cast-iron grate masterfully conducts, distributes, and retains heat, making it ideal for searing and grilling. At the same time, the grill's roasting lid with temperature gauge and adjustable vents transforms the Element into a convection-like oven, allowing you to barbecue, slow cook, and even bake. The lid also comes with an inside hook for conveniently storing it on the cart handle.

Patent-Pending Features for Efficient, Consistent, and Convenient Cooking
Patent-pending features like the dual-zone burner system and independent burner-zone control give you complete command over grilling temperature for both direct and indirect cooking, so you can be sure to get the results you want. Just choose the zone that matches your needs.

Zone One (15,000 BTUs) is for indirect cooking, such as roasting and baking; Zone Two (9,000 BTUs) is great for standard direct open-faced grilling. The stainless steel handles are ideal for tools and towels--no more going back and forth from the kitchen to the grill.

A steel cooking lid with temperature gauge and adjustable vents can fine-tune cavity temperature for precise grilling, while a disposable aluminum residue collection cup makes cleanup a snap. 4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT GRILL, July 11, 2011
This review is from: Fuego EG01AMG Element 21-Inch Dual-Zone Gas Grill, Stainless Steel (Lawn & Patio)
I read all the reviews and I was more confused. Because it looks so great, I decided to risk it all and buy the top of the line stainless one. Turns out I made the right decision. It cooks great, it looks great and it's as simple as it gets. The only reason I give it a four star is because the latch system for the cover is kind of a drag. Get the cloth cover for the grill to protect it, however, it does not protect it from mice!! The first time I went to use it, I opened the lid and a mouse had built a nest on top of the grate and was there looking at me! My wife had to come out and rescue me from this horrible sight. The critter jumped into the grease catcher where it was easily transported to freedom. I love the grill. My wife loves the grill. The mouse, not so much.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fuego EG01AMG Element 21-Inch Dual-Zone Gas Grill, Stainless Steel (Lawn & Patio)
Beautiful grill that will decorate your terrace or lounge area. Heats up very rapidly so it's perfect for searing or pizza making. Can get up to 800 degrees in the mid of winter. The little side table that comes out from the side is all I need to set up the plate to pick up the food. I've not had the door problem reported by other reviewers.

2.0 out of 5 stars Problematic style, December 15, 2011

This review is from: Fuego EG01AMG Element 21-Inch Dual-Zone Gas Grill, Stainless Steel (Lawn & Patio)
It does grill nicely, but the front cover falls right off.

Plus if you want to add a low-propane gauge, the cover will never close.

Since there is no pitch for your grease to get into the grease cup,

the whole grill sets aflame. If anyone has any idea how to prevent

the grease fires, I'd appreciate the knowledge.
