I am impressed to see what can be done without the Hollywood big bucks! It is obvious that the movie was made by a very dedicated cast and crew, a resourceful editor, as well as a creative cinematographer and director. It is without doubt a very professional production, with excellent actors throughout - a very sad story though! Alas, as in the Greek tragedies there is no feel-good happy ending. In my view, the issues about child abandonment, drug addiction, child molestation, battered women etc. were handled with sensitivity and discretion. The filmmakers have shown with this work that they are ready for bigger and better things!
