Product Description

As a vehicle gets older, the power systems often will generate and experience more electrical noise or electrical interference. This electrical noise can have many detrimental effects on the vehicles systems and decrease their fuel efficiency. The FD-47 simply plugs into your lighter socket/power port and the power conditioning qualities of the FD-47 help to reduce and remove this noise and to restore your vehicles fuel efficiency. If your vehicle is designed for high performance or modified for increased power this unit may not have any effect on your fuel mileage. For maximum results use on vehicles that are over two years old.

100% fraudulent July 31, 2010
By Werecow
I only wish it were possible to give this device a negative star rating. Being an inquisitive electronics engineer, I disassembled one of these. It comprises a pretty plastic case, a few diodes, resistors and capacitors - none of which can have -any- effect on any vehicle's fuel economy or performance. The only thing it improves is the manufacturer's profit. Any claims to the contrary are written either by the sellers of this automotive "snake oil", or their victims, who unconsciously change their driving styles when the device is plugged in.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I purchased the Fuel Doctor for a trip from Las Vegas to Detroit and I found NO differance in mileage on my 1997 Pontiac Transport Minivan. I them tried it on my 1998 Buick Park Ave. I took a drive up round trip to Northern Michigan from Detroit and I found NO differance in mileage either. I think the Fuel Doctor needs a doctor. I requesting a full refund from Amanzon on this product because the claims that were made about an increase in fuel economy are FALSE!

Consumer Reports Magazine (Jan 2011) tested Fuel Doctor on 10 different vehicles and found no significant impact. Two of the vehicles were the older, high-mileage vehicles Fuel Doctor says it works best on. What does Fuel Doctor do? It lights up. And it separates you from your money.

Hoax
This device is a complete scam. The only thing the Fuel Doctor does is light up, it's nothing more than a $50 LED light.
