I spent a lot of time researching how to fix my leaking quick disconnect valve on my 2007 FXSTD. It took several trips to the HD dealership, which was 90 miles away, attempting to purchase the correct o-rings. After buying a couple o-ring from the dealership for $0.35 each I attempted to change the o-ring with a dental pick that I had in my toolbox. I got the o-rings out and out shoot the spring which I could not find. I compared the o-rings to the ones the dealership sold me . Not the same. So I purchased this product and the Fuel Tool EFI Check Valve Rebuild Kit (about $65). I wish I would have purchased the Fuel Tool EFI Check Valve Rebuild Kit first and it would have been less likely that I needed to purchase this product. I may have even saved a few more dollars by purchasing

With this kit you can repair the gas line quick connection. I suggest buying the tool made to install the kits contents or borrowing one from a friend as installing it without the tool would be difficult. This kit allows you to fix a part Harley Davidson says is not repairable. They want $43 for a new part and about $180 to install the new part.

Worked great, I had a hard time removing the old O rings. My bike is a 2000 and had never been changed.
